Engineering,
done rigorously
CAD before fabrication. Test logs before competition. We document every iteration — failures included — in a real engineering notebook.
A vector is nothing without both parts: magnitude and direction. That's the whole team in one word.
In physics a vector needs both a size and a direction to mean anything. We built the team the same way — the discipline to build well, aimed at a reason worth building for.
CAD before fabrication. Test logs before competition. We document every iteration — failures included — in a real engineering notebook.
We compete to get better at building things, but we exist to bring more people into STEM — outreach, mentorship, and a program built to outlast any one season.
v₁ + v₂ = VECTOR ROBOTICS — the resultant is the whole point.
Every subsystem starts as a drawing before it's a part. This is the live architecture we build against — drag anywhere to orbit it.
Every member sits on a subteam. Select one to light up the part of the robot it owns.
Fabrication, drivetrain, and every mechanism between the field and the score. If it moves, spins or lifts, this subteam owns it.
Every part modelled before it's cut — tolerances, iterations and version history. The drawing is the contract the build team works from.
Autonomous routines, driver control, and the sensors that make both possible. Tuned on the field, not just in the simulator.
Sponsorship, the engineering notebook, and getting STEM in front of more kids. The work that makes the rest of the season possible.
A running log of milestones. Replace these with real dates and results as they happen.
Vector Robotics forms with a small founding roster and a workshop borrowed from [school / sponsor].
This season, we're learning the ropes and building our first robot. We plan to make the most of our resources to succeed in tournaments.
We are currently working on our offseason projects and planning for the upcoming BIOBUZZ season to ensure we are ready to compete at our best when the season begins.

Whether you build, code, design, or just want to help students learn engineering — there's a seat on this team.
Tell us which side of the vector you want to be on — we'll come back with the next meeting time.
